Chris Zielinski

  • "Chef Zielinski" responds to our changing times with a menu based on bold eastern flavours, tempered by western technique. As cookery God James Beard once said “food is our common ground, a universal experience”…simply said we all appreciate a great meal.

Through the use of craftily designed smaller plates, guests and friends are free to design their own global feast, experiencing a myriad of new tastes and textures and promoting the discussion, enjoyment and experience of different cuisines and cultures.

About Ultra

Both the original and new designs of Ultra were created by the International Award-winning firm Munge Leung. Owned and managed by iconic entertainment style leader Charles Khabouth and well-known caterer Brenda Lowes, Ultra will continue to be one of Toronto’s premium entertainment structures.

The new space also features an avant-garde twenty-five foot table made of solid oak created by ‘out-of-the-box’ design firm Castor. The table, which seats twenty four people and will be the hub of the social dining experience, was created to double as a runway. Each leg, hand carved out of aluminum, is a different bird inspired design. The uniforms are the cheeky yet sophisticated creations of Canadian designers Bustle Clothing.

Co-owners of Ultra Supper Club since its inception in 2003, Charles Khabouth and Brenda Lowes are long-time friends and associates, having first met over two decades ago. Besides being a managing partner at Ultra, Lowes is also the owner of the successful catering company Kindred Spirits which she launched in 1992.
